I wrestled with the idea of creating a website for a while until
I finally chose to build it. Here you'll find information about me and a lot of
things I hold dear.
I wrestled for a while about having an "about me" section where some sort
of autobiography would be established. While I do have a brief summary of my current academic profile in "About Dr Mora", that is just a small portion of who I am . I think the story of my life
has taken me to so many places and I have had such diverse experiences that I
want my website to reflect my life. So, the story of me is all over these
pages. For instance, you'll be able to learn about what I have done as a
teacher and researcher through "My Vita" and "Teaching and Research." You'll find out more about me and my interests through
"About Raúl A." and "Contact Me." I also invite you to
read what else is on my mind by following my Gonzo 2.0, "The
blogger, the thinker, the provocateur."

About the picture:
"NOTHING EASY!!" (yes, with two exclamation signs) became my battle
cry when I was finishing my dissertation in 2010. Although the actual quote
comes from the unlikeliest source imaginable, this phrase continues
to be a source of inspiration now that I'm a faculty member. This phrase
inspires me to work hard in all my projects and papers and I know it has
inspired other friends of mine. So there, if you need a jolt to get your work
done, just say with me:
